The company says that metaverse is the next evolution of social connection. The Company’s vision is to help bring the metaverse to life, so they have changed their name to reflect their commitment to this future. 3D spaces in the metaverse will let you socialize, learn, collaborate and play in ways that go beyond what we can imagine. The Company is already developing exciting new technologies that will help people connect and explore in the metaverse.
Disha Didi is a conversational chatbot developed by Queppelin for Ipas which is a ‘Not for Profit’ organization and dedicated to preventing and managing unwanted pregnancies, and ending deaths and disabilities from unsafe abortion. This Chatbot has improved and opened many barriers for IDF to spread information about SRH in rural areas and open a source of help for the women to ask questions which they couldn’t ask someone on a personal level but can ask an AI bot without hesitating
about such topics.
This week it was announced that Niantic acquired the 3D mobile scanning app Scaniverse.
In other news, Byju’s has acquired Augmented Reality startup Whodat for an undisclosed amount. The companies have confirmed that the entire team of Whodat and their proprietary computer vision platform have been acquired to accelerate product development in key areas.
This week it was announced that Discord, the communication platform favored by gamers has acquired Ubiquity6.
